Observational writing

The leaf is sun yellow and chocolate brown in colour. It looks like it has been on the ground so long it has grass marks on it. The tip of the leaf is chocolate brown which makes it look burnt. When it was in my book, words imprinted onto it.

With the slightest touch it crumbles to the ground, when I slide my finger across the sides it feels jagged and rough.

When I rub the leaf through my hands it makes a rustling sound.>

When I put the leaf up to my ear I hear a spine chilling sound.
